In addition to collection areas such as film, Star Wars, comics, anime or series, there are many more genres in which you can collect diligently. While more and more statues, figures or busts of well-known musicians or groups have come onto the market in recent years, T-shirts, caps and posters have always been popular with fans. From the sport we are familiar with the legendary Panini albums from the 70s and 80s. In the USA, collectible cards have been kept like treasures by the boys and girls since the 1920s and are often worth tens of thousands of dollars today. Since 1999, mcfarlane has been providing SportsPicks, i.e. sportsfigures, to fans of the NHL, NFL, NBA and MLB. Collectors have long recognized these figures, in which there are rare variants e.B. in the home jersey instead of regular in the away jersey, as an investment for themselves. One of the most expensive figures had changed hands with just under 1,500 USdollars. Quite a lot of proceeds with a regular purchase price of approx. 20US. The video game market, i.e. VideoGames, has also been recognized by collectors as a target group. More and more characters from Tekken, Batman: Arkham City, Mass Effect or Assasins Creed find their way out of the games into the collectible showcases.
Of course, there are also a lot of accessories for statues. From simple figure stands to foils for collectible cards to illuminated display cases, the collector is offered a variety of possibilities to either protect his valuable exhibits effectively or to display them perfectly.
